Details
This unique Haggadah from the Israel Museum Shop is based on the 12th century Birds Head Haggadah, from Germany; one of the earliest known haggadahs. It illustrates scenes from the haggadah with stunning pop-up artwork that will captivate children and adults.
In the scenes of the Haggadah, including the crossing of the Red Sea and baking matzah, the peoples heads have been replaced by birds heads, typical of Ashkenai liturgy of the 12th century. The figures are also adorned with pointed hats, which was an edict for all Jews from the Catholic Church.
Bring a special piece of history to the Passover Seder Table with this stunning illustrated Haggadah replica!
